In last months issue of ToyFare Magazine they shared some images of the upcoming Mini-Exoskeletons installment of Playmates Mini-Mutants line.
Interesting designs but I get tired very easily of the same turtles over and over, even in a small format.
Now Shredder on the other hand I'll more than likely get as I skipped those dumb space hogging playsets.

More than likely not.
My playsets reside in my storage cubby, so they've been of no harm for me. The figures from the playsets live on a bookshelf.

Yeah, but I have no place to actually set them up.
Yeah thats why I won't buy them, or that's what I keep telling myself lol
But if you compare what the alternative is to get the non-black Turtle and Shredder... I think you're better off with the playset and probably for the same cost.
If you see the Mike & Don playsets and you want those figures, you should pick 'em up. I've only ever seen two of each. Leo and Raph will go on clearance eventually.
Yeah but sadly most of the Don & Mike Playset figures have really bad paint jobs, and thats always a factor when I buy things.
Mini Foot Ninja should at least be offered outside the playsets condsiering its size-up figure was also re-modded as a BTTS Cyber Foot.
The other two Mono and Bigfoot are more throaway characters IMO. Bigfoot is probably the character that least needed MM treatment, sure Hun can just about get away with it in comparison but BF was a much bigger char. Aside from that, if there's to be MM versions of Mono and BF there may as well be MMs of the other Stone Generals and Monsters too. In short Bigfoot is not a good choice.

I prefer Big Mono better, large and hefty the way he should be :). You are right about the hammer though TokK.
Playmates should at least do the other Stone Generals and not just him.
